Throw Out Fifty Things

Old, sad, memories that weigh you down need to go

Yes, it is so important to toss stuff that makes you feel heavy-hearted.

Among the stuff I have tossed are the following (these are already included in my 38 count)

A hat that makes me feel old. It was also the hat I was wearing years ago when I was mugged. eccch.
(I was alright, but mugger got away). Hat was a reminder of that bad time. GONE!

Coffee mug that reminded me of a sad time in my like....reminded me of a person who betrayed a loved one.

Postcards that reminded me of a disagreement I had with two friends. GONE

SKINNY SKINNY clothes that reminded me I will never have my twelve-year-old body again. GONE!

FAT clothes that make me think I can't lose some pounds and get to a reasonable, healthy, happy-medium weight,
even if I won't ever be a skinny twelve-year-old again! GONE!

Unflattering photographs of myself. GONE!

More on the way, as I find stuff!

Great, Susan!! I'm particularly glad the "bad hat" is gone. You've really got the connection between the physical stuff and the emotional stuff down. Who wants to be 12 years old again anyway?!
