Throw Out Fifty Things

I finished remodeling my house (as in major rip out not a nip and tuck) and as is usual one room end up being the catch all room for everything in boxes, bags, and plastic containers. Others had helped throw everything in there and I decided to gird the loins and figure out what to do with everything. I was in the moment of figuring out where to store everything and a wonderful spiritual experience. YOUR BOOK WAS IN THE FIRST BOX I ATTACKED!!! I’m very faith based and I sat down and re read. Needless to say ninety percent of what was stored found a home somewhere else, even if the trash.

I truly believe the hand of God sent that book and your words to me. Live simpler. Divest. Don’t clutter your future with things (especially things from the past that have no ongoing value).  I threw out hundreds of things. Cleaned the room and then in the subsequent days wonder into it with amazement of how much wonderful space and light I have.

Thank you! Your words as always timely. And don’t tell me it was a coincidence that it was in the first box I opened and on top. Also, I take your book with me shopping. I think an ounce of prevention is worth everything. J
