Its been over 3 years since I've been on here. My life has changed drastically. And the mess has built up. As in UP UP AND AWAY. I've gotten married, and my husband has a 4 year old daughter. I've moved 3 times in the past year, once to my home town for school, second was in with my husband after we got married, and third when we bought our house back in April. I hope Im done with it for a while. I was hoping to use the moving process as a clean out but it didnt work that way. We managed to get rid of a little, but not near as much as I would like. My husband was at work, the moving date was moved up last minute, and I had to pack most of it myself and move with the help of my parents. Needless to say, its almost October and theres still boxes in my "office" and things we cant find. Not only was moving hectic and hard, but we bought the house from my papaw who decided it was a good time to clean out his own stuff. He decided to take what he wanted and just leave the rest for us to deal with. It was cute in a way, and it was his way of helping us out alot. Not only with the house but with the furniture. We didnt even have a dining room table and chairs until he left us his. Sweet sweet man. Ive been working on cleaning alot of it out as I go but its soo hard to tackle. I just want to move everything out of my house and then move back in what I like and leave the rest out for the garbage men. Sounds like a great idea to me. That, or pull what papaw did, move and take only what I want and leave the rest for someone else!
I just went back and read my previous posts and its crazy how much this book seemed to change my outlook. I think its time to try again. Step one:Mommas house to find that book! I know its there somewhere. My husband just left for work for 14 days, and Im quitting my full time job, so now seems like a fabulous time to tackle this pile of JUNK. I havent decided on garage sale, donation, or just the trash. I have gotten rid of (donated, given away, sold, or thrown out) A TON of stuff since we moved in but its still all together WAY TOO MUCH STUFF. So its time to get it out. And now that the whole house is to myself, why not start??
As soon as that hubby of mine gets home, hes going to get a dose of this book. Even if it means reading it out loud for him while he's laying in bed. I hope he'll jump on the band wagon too!!
