Throw Out Fifty Things

I got Gail's book in the mail yesterday and I'm really inspired to make a change in my life. I feel so overwelmed with all the stuff--physical, emotional and mental--that I just feel so stuck and unable to move. Since I've been reading Gail's book, I've looked in my closet at all the shoes and clothes and in the makeup drawer at least a hundred times but unable to touch anything. It's crazy! Tonight, I will clear out the shoes and the makeup before I go to bed. That will be 2 (really more but we count groups of things as 1) things down. Just writing this makes me feel like I can accomplish that today. Now, back to studying my Spanish so I can do a little decluttering as a reward for finishing my homework.

Marybeth, good for you!! Yeah, it's true: just writing down your intentions really helps build your resolve. Remember, you don't have to do everything at once. Start small and enjoy the process. And keep us posted. Hey, did you download the workbook? It really helps...
