Hi! I've been following the food plan in the book,"The Skinny on losing weight without being hungry" by Louis j. Aronne, M.D. It's the best book on weight control I've ever read. I've lost 26 pounds over the last 3 weeks. I was on a 1,200 calorie diet plan 2 years ago & didn't lose anything .I am diabetic , so it's working to help that too.

First Item Throw Away
I figured I'd start with something easy , well, not easy but not actually sitting in front of me. I started with two e-mail accounts and deleted around 60,000 , yes, that's 60,000 e-mails that I had let pile up over 2 1/2 years. I just said I was going to start somewhere and here's my beginning.some of the e-mails were from 6 years ago ,but I was going to keep them , then asked myself why. I haven't used them in that time.It's took me two days to complete this .It's getting easier.Comment on this please!

I was reading through all your posts and I am so impressed with all that you have been doing. I believe 60,000 old emails is a lot to have to go through and delete. I also have a lot of emails (over 2,500) even though I delete many of them each day. I guess I just keep more than I delete so I have to get back to getting rid of them again. I have a friend that sends me a lot of chain mails too and most of them get deleted without being read. It is very easy to become addictive to going through all emails and being swallowed up with the volume of them.
Your weight loss is fabulous!!! I might need to find that book...What is making it work so well for you? Are you eating differently? Exercising? I'm sure you feeling better after looking that much weight. I am very proud of you for taking the iniative and losing the weight. Don't stop!!!

- Thanks, Lisa. His name is Chubbs and he is a mess. I'm afraid if I got rid of him and the others I wouldn't have anyone to blame my house mess on and as you can tell by his sleeping position on the steps he is very helpful around the house.

- I threw out 200 emails and it took me 2 days to go through them. A friend loves chain email, and if all those threats are to be believed I'm cursed a few thousand times over and my fiance will die, my kids will break their legs (but I don't have any kids?!), and I'll probably be diagnosed with cancer next week. I'm not superstitious. Really, I'm not. See, I deleted them all anyway.
