Throw Out Fifty Things

Here is the official Throw Out Fifty Things Workbook. Use it to keep track of what you are throwing out. It will also help you to measure your progress to FIFTY THINGS!

Make sure that you come back to the site and tell me what you threw out.

Good luck!

Margaret, so good to hear from you! Keep going. This is exactly the right time to "clarify" your entire life. And it sounds like you're starting in exactly the right place!

Keep us posted...

Hi Gail,

I spoke to you yesterday on the Martha Stewart Sirius Sattelite radio show in the morning. When I came to the website and found you have a very generous workbook I am going to print it and post it to show you how much it is going to save me. My home is nothing like the homes you see on Oprah where birds and animals are pooing, and piles up to the ceiling with plants growing in the carpets! But I am a clutter bug and it I am not sure what happens when we turn fifty, but I'm 53 and I can't take this clutter any more. I'm sick of piles and I have an almost empty file cabinet! Time to get organized and get rid of things without looking back. Thank you so much for the motivation.

Gail, I just got your book "Thow out Fifty Things" and saw this website for the workbook. Thank you for providing it. I will use it. After over 30 years in the corporate world, I was downsized two months ago and am now working from my home office and working on my life coach certification. I want to remove anything that stands in the way of making this exciting new phase of my life very successful and prosperous. Connie

I'm so glad you're finding the workbook helpful! I really like the idea of "not looking back..." Please let us see your list of 50 things when you're done!

All the best, Gail

Gail,

Thank you for making this a free-of-charge pdf. I purchased your book after seeing it in Real Simple magazine; usually 'workbooks' that come with these sorts of books have to be purchased separately.

Now, when I'm done with it, I'll have to decide, do I recycle the paper I printed it on or do I keep it???

Kind Regards,
Jenny
My piles of stuff reflects the inner mess of my life- as children are grown and gone from our household- one by one...

so much of my energy is spent on maintaining the surface of my life- still two kids at home- 17 and 19, our own business-
church commitments, and now the garden...trying to help with aging parents-the list goes on...

feeling a need to get rid of emotional and material burdens that have accumulated over the past 50 years
(I think that's the "hill" people talk about - when we turn 50- a hill of stuff! now on the downside- whittling the hill down to
a manageable size!) -Mari
