OKAY, SO YOU'RE SMART. BIG DEAL.
If just being smart did it, there would be a very different cast of characters in the top positions in corporate America, on the political scene, in entertainment, you name it. Smart doesn't walk the dog. Here's what does: Caring. How much do you care about what you do, what you're committed to, the difference you want to make, about what makes other people tick? Remember, people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. So this week, let go of trying to prove you've got all the answers and fall in love with the questions. Ask people what they care about, what moves them, what they're afraid of. Ask what you can do. We already know you're smart. What else ya got?
