It's summer and it just occurred to me that whether you're playing tennis, golf or baseball, you've got to "swing all the way through the ball," as my mom always said. I don't always do it, but when I do, it always works. Well, the same goes for other kinds of "games," too - making an important pitch, starting a new job or simply walking into a roomful of people you don't know. If you want to show up big (maybe even hit it out of the park) you've got to go the full distance - not half way, all the way. That means you don't hesitate, second guess or play small. Go with your instincts and swing through it. Think about that the next time you're on the links, the court, the field - or in the conference room.
