DECLARE IT!

There’s nothing more powerful than a full-hearted, full-throated,
fully-loaded declaration. Consider Churchill in 1940, “We shall
never surrender…” or Roosevelt in 1941, “We shall gain the
ultimate victory, so help us God.” Or JFK in 1961, “We will send
a man to the moon and bring him back safely before the end of
this decade.” Or Joe Namath the night before Super Bowl III, “I
guarantee it.” They didn’t say they were going to give it their
best shot. They said this is how it’s going to go. What about you?
What are you out for? What are you ready to put it on the line
for? Creating a new business? Committing to a great relationship?
Finding the solution, the cure, the answer? Winning the ultimate
victory? If you want to marshal the forces of God and Nature, of
friends and family, don’t just talk about it, declare it. Then do it.
